dc.description.abstractThis study is attempted to search the influence of Small Group Problem Solving to children's skill in solve problem independently. The hypothesis tested was based on the assumption that Small Group Problem Solving was improved children's skill in solve problem independently. Young children aged 3-5 years, sat on the play group or kindergarten and settled in Jogjakarta are the subject of this research. Data were collected by behavioral checklist of problem solve skill which refers to the five problem solving processes of Siegler and Alibali. The collected data were prosessed by SPSS 16 for Windows with Friedman method. Result of the study indicated that Small Group Problem Solving was not improved children's skill in solve problem independently with Asymp. Sig = 0.215 (p > 0.05).en_US
