dc.description.abstractThis research aims to know the relationship between treatment motivation and medication adherance among patients of diabetes mellitus type 2. The subjects of this study were 60 diabetes patients. Data collecd using scale treatment motivation adapted of the scale Knight, Holcom, & Simpson (1994) and scale of medication adherance adapted of the Morisky (1986). Data analyzed using product moment spearman rho. The result of this study demonstrate the correlation coefficient r = -0.560 value p = 0.000 (p<0.05). So that the conclusions of this research is the existence of a significant relationship between treatment motivation and medication adherance among patients of diabetes melitus type 2. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted.en_US
