dc.description.abstractKontaminasi logam timbal (Pb) dalam kosmetik pada konsentrasi tertentu dapat menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui validitas metode destruksi (microwave dan hotplate), mengetahui metode terbaik dalam menganalisis kadar logam Pb serta mengetahui kadar logam timbal yang terkandung dalam hair mask menggunakan metode SSA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu validasi metode destruksi basah tertutup, uji statistik untuk penentuan metode terbaik, pembuatan kurva kalibrasi, dan penentuan kadar timbal dalam masker rambut secara spektrofotometri. Pada validasi metode dilakukan dengan menguji 5 parameter validasi metode meliputi uji linearitas, uji presisi, uji akurasi dan uji LOD dan LOQ. Berdasarkan penentuan metode terbaik hasil uji validasi metode analisis yaitu: nilai linearitas pada uji validitas sebesar 0,9984; nilai LOD dan LOQ masing-masing sebesar 1,127 mg/L dan 3,757 mg/L; nilai uji perolehan kembali untuk metode microwave dan hotplatemasing-masingsebesar 91,43% dan 93,26%; nilai %RSD untuk uji presisi metode microwave dan hotplate sebesar 4,21% dan 1,76%,Hasil analisis kadar logam timbal (Pb) dalam sampel masker rambut sebesar 3,69 mg/L. The contamination of lead metal (Pb) in cosmetic at a certain concentration can make health problems. The purpose of this research was to know the validity of destruction methods (microwave and hotplate), to know the best method in analyzing Pb metal content and to know the level of lead metal contained in hair mask by atomic absorption spectroscopy.This research was conducted in several stages of research those were validation of closed wet destruction method, statistical test for the best method determination, calibration curve making, and determination of lead level in hair mask by spectrophotometry. Validation method was done by testing the 5 validation parameters method include linearity test, precision test, accuracy test and LOD and LOQ test.Based on the determination of the best method of validation test results of analysis methods were: the value of linearity in the validity test was 0.9984; value of LOD and LOQ respectively were 1.127 mg/L and 3.757 mg/L; value recovery of microwave and hotplate were 91.43% and 93.26%; result %RSD for precision test of microwave and hotplate methods weere 4.21% and 1.76%. Result analysis of lead metal content (Pb) in hair mask was3.69 mg/L.en_US
