Mudarabah Suatu Sistem Ekonomi Alternatif Tanpa Riba (Studi tentang Perspektif Islam terhadap Ekonomi)

Abstract

Mudârabah is an economic cooperation of profit sharing. It is very suitable to run fund to support enterprises. In fact, the economy of the people is various, depending on their ability. Some of them have a lot of money so they can save their money that can be used as their capital to run their business. On the contrary, some of them do not have a lot of money to get the capital to run their business. This condition creates the interdependence between them. The cooperation is better to be applied, because they can run their business in order to get the profit. The system of interest is commonly used in the world of economy meanwhile almost all religion forbids. Therefore, mudârabah is the best alternative to change the system of interest. The advantages of mudârabah: This system has been long developed and proven effectively and efficiently to improve and develop the economy recovery. Mudârabah can be recognized its validity by all religion. It can be applied by all religion prohibit. This system is very flexible because it can be applied in bankings, partnership business, labor wages, etc. Mudârabah is better than the system of interest. By using mudârabah in labor wages, the laborer get not only a basic salary but also profit sharing. For example, A is a worker in Wartel who get basic salary Rp. 100.000,00 per month. He will also get 20 % of profit sharing. It means, that if the net profit of the Wartel is Rp. 500.000,00, he will get additional income 20 % of Rp. 500.000,00 = Rp. 100.000,00. So in one month he will get Rp. 200.000,00. By using the system, it will encourage workers to work more dilligently because the more dilligent they work, the more money they will get.
