| dc.description.abstract | Pabrik Aluminium Sulfat memberikan prospek yang baik untuk meningkatkan kebutuhan Aluminium Sulfat pada industri kimia di Indonesia. Aluminium Sulfat digunakan sebagai bahan flokulasi dalam pemurnian air dan kilang pengolahan air limbah serta untuk pembuatan kertas. Pabrik Aluminium Sulfat dirancang dengan kapasitas 21.000 ton/tahun dengan bahan baku Bauksit dan Asam Sulfat 60%. Bauksit dipilih sebagai bahan baku utama karena ketersediaan bauksit di Indonesia yang sangat banyak. Pabrik Aluminium Sulfat direncanakan didirikan di daerah Tembilahan, Riau karena telah memiliki sarana penunjang dengan baik. Pembangunan Pabrik Aluminium Sulfat didirikan dengan luas 6.190 m2. Proses produksi yang menggunakan proses basah dimana bauksit dan asam sulfat 60% akan direaksikan didalam reaktor, hasil dari rekasi adalah aluminium sulfat berbentuk slurry yang kemudian dikristalkan dan di vakum untuk menghilangkan kadar asam sulfat dan airnya. Proses tersebutakan dioperasikan pada kondisi tekanan 4 atm pada suhu 90⁰C dengan konversi 85%. Reaksi berlangsung pada fasa padat-cair, eksotermis dan ireversibel. Bauksit sebagai bahan baku utama mengalir dengan kecepatan 1.101,1183 kg/jam, dan Asam Sulfat 1.488,0961 kg/jam. Dan unit pendukung lainnya yaitu kebutuhan utilitas terdiri dari 49.847,2076 kg/jam cooling water; 304,1687 kg/jam steam; 88,6210 lt/jam bahan bakar sedangkan kebutuhan listrik sebanyak 373,3093 kwh yang disediakan oleh PLN. Analisa dalam evaluasi ekonomi dari perancangan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa jumlah modal tetap Rp 110.114.705.271; modal pekerja Rp 16.315.104.536,43. Keuntungan sebelum pajak Rp 34.645.294.913 sedangkan keuntungan setelah pajak Rp 17.322.647.456. Persentasi dari modal kembali sebelum pajak 31,46% dan setelah pajak 15,73 %. Pay out time (POT) sebelum pajak 2,41 tahun sedangkan setelah pajak 3,89 tahun. Nilai penjualan pada Break Event Point (BEP) 47,08 % dan Shut Down Point (SDP) 21,36 % dengan Discounted Cash Flow Rate (DCFR) 21,51 %. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi ekonomi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendirian pabrik Aluminium Sulfat dari Bauksit dan Asam Sulfat dengan kapasitas 21.000 Ton/Tahun layak untuk didirikan.
Aluminium Sulphate plant has a good prospect to increase the growth of chemical industry in Indonesia. Aluminium Sulphate are used as floculant in water purification process,waste water treatment, and paper manufacturing process. Aluminium Sulfat Factory was designed with capacity of 21,000 ton/year with raw material bauxite and 60% of sulphate acid. Bauxite was chosen as the main raw material because there is a lot of bauxite supplies in Indonesia.The manufacture of Aluminium Sulphate with capacity of 21,000 ton/year was planned to be built in Tembilahan, Riau in the area of 6,190 m2. Production processes using a wet process in which bauxite and 60% sulfuric acid are reacted in the reactor, the result of reaction is a slurry-shaped aluminum sulphate which is then crystallized and in vacum to remove the sulfuric acid and water content. With operation condition : with 4 atm pressure and 90˚ degree Celcius temperature and convertion reaction 85%. The reaction took place in the solid-liquid phase, exothermic and ireversible. Bauxite as the main raw material flew at rate 1,101.1183 kg/hour, Sulphate Acid 1,488.0961 kg/hour. And another material needs is the utiliy consist of 49,847.2076 kg/hour of cooling water; 304,1687 kg/hour of steam; 88.6210 Lt/hour of fuel oil while the power of electricity of about 373,3093 kwh provided by PLN. Studies on the economic evaluation of this plant has led to conclude that it needs fixed capital of Rp 110,114,705,271; working capital of Rp 16,315,104,536.43,. The profit before tax is Rp 34,645,294,913while the profit after tax isRp 17,322,647,456. Percentage of return on investement (ROI) before tax is 31.46% while after tax is 15.73 %. Pay out time (POT) before tax is 2.41 years while after tax is 3.89 years. The value of break even point (BEP) is 47.08% and shut down point (SDP) is 21.36 % with Discounted Cash Flow Rate (DCFR) is 21.51 %. Based on the economic analysis, It is concluded that preliminary design of Aluminium Sulphate from Bauxite with capacity 21,000 ton/years visible to be built. | en_US |
