Strategi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Model Babakan Lebaksiu Tegal

Abstract

School Based Management (SBM) which gives autonomy of school and it’s community to run the education well and property is a new concept in Indonesian Education System. Formely, management of education system is government centered but nowdays it moves to apply School Based Management. The aim of this is returning the School Based Management to the stakeholder such as it’s community. So, they run the schools responsibility. The matter of this research is relaterd to the strategy of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Model Babakan in applying School Based Management (SBM). As a result, it is able to increase the student’s academic and now academic achievement. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Model Babakan which established by Pondok Pesantren “Ma’hadatuh Tholabah” applies School Based Management (SBM) supported by “Pondok Pesantren” as a steakholder. They applies it based on the system approach: Input – proses – output. Using this approach, School Based Management (SBM) runs effectively and efficiently Based on the result of this research, We conclude that applying School Based Management (SBM) in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Model Babakan is involving all elements in the school to support the reachable of educational goal. One of the importance is the role of Pondok Pesantren Ma’haduth Tholabah as one of it’s steakholder. Because, most students of it studys there. This makes School Based Management (SBM) runs well. As a proof, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Model Babakan is the best Madrasah Tsanawiyah Model in Indonesia in 2004.
