dc.description.abstractReward and Punishment as a matter of fact can be used as an effective in achieving the education goal or even becomes the boomerang (counter attack) for students. Too much rewarding could bring an impact of self-pressure and frustration on children. The frequent punishment could trigger the rebellion, anger and make children depressed and pessimistic. The proportional rewards and punishment can be certain motivation to students in improving the totality of self-ability towards virtue and perfection. The formulation of this research problem included (1) How is the implementation of school regulation on punishment and reward in Islamic education at State MTs Windusari Magelang? (2) What are the implications of the implementation of school regulations on punishment and rewards in Islamic education towards the achievement of Islamic education objectives at State MTs Windusari Magelang? In accordance with the subject studied, the research analysis used a descriptive qualitative approach. To obtain the data this research used three techniques: in-depth interview, participant observation, and (study of documents). Data analysis in this research was conducted by descriptive qualitative. In detail the steps of research analysis was as follows: first, research preparation, including: (a) data collection, (b) organizing and grouping data collected in accordance with the nature of existing categories. Second, data analysis conducted through three stages, namely (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, and (c) conclusion or verification. From the discussion and the results of research it can be concluded: first the implementation of punishment in the form of scoring, warning and dismissed from school. Meanwhile, the punishment in teaching-learning activities was in the form of cynical view, warning and threats, the "alpha" standing in front of the class and physical punishment. On the other hand, reward is by giving a gift (thing) for learning activities. The rewards in the teaching-learning activities are in the form of praise, trust, and smile, sight and clapping the back and giving a thing. Secondly, in general, the implication of the implementation of school regulations on punishment and reward in Islamic education on the achievement of Islamic education objectives at State MTs Windusari Magelang, in particular physical punishment, is more effective to trigger the children's motivation, improving the deviant behavior and discipline in children. As a result, such punishmen can create the increasing motivation, better behavior and increasing discipline in children.en_US
