    Abstract
The United States globalization process from 2017 to 2022 has witnessed significant development and changes in terms of shaping the Muslim image through its popular culture, especially in terms of film and TV series. This research argues that the changing image of Muslim in the United States popular culture is due to the role of capitalism, with close ties to westernization, homogenization, hybridization, and consumerism. This research uses qualitative methods where the writer conducted preliminary research and gathered a variety of sources, including both internet and journal sources. The author relied heavily on news media sources to learn about problems that were occurring at the time or have occurred earlier in order to include them in this research paper. The research analysis is based on Sklair’s transnational approach through globalization which consist of four categories; capitalism as the central issue of globalization, capitalist globalization that operate within the cultural imperialism of Westernization or Americanization, globalization that proposes homogenization and hybridization, and consumerism as the culture ideology
