    Abstract
Trisik Beach is one of the tourist beaches in Kulon Progo, DIY. Since the 90s, beach tourism has had its ups and downs. At first, this beach was a fishing village. Gradually, tourism on this beach has increased with the existence of a fish auction place located on one part of the beach. But in 2008, abrasion devoured the prosperity of this beach tourism. In 2018, the community revived Trisik Beach tourism with the development of a lagoon and various conservation activities making this beach a Conservation-Based Ecotourism. However, for the same reason, the facilities and infrastructure that have been built are affected by abrasion and are eventually damaged and abandoned in 2022. The decline in Trisik Beach tourism is very unfortunate. This beach actually has many advantages. This beach is passed by the southern route to YIA (New Airport). The location of this beach is also adjacent to Muara Progo. On this beach, there is also one of only 3 turtle conservation places in Yogyakarta. Unfortunately, the development of facilities and infrastructure on this beach cannot withstand the frequent coastal abrasion. This Sea Turtles Visitor Center is designed to improve the quality of Trisik Beach tourism while still maintaining the Sea Turtles’ habitat in the area. The design provides facilities that involve the locals in reserving Sea Turtles as well as educating the tourist about Sea Turtles and their importance. It hopes to improve wider communities' awareness of turtle preservation activities.
