Prioritizing road infrastructure maintenance, especially for Poor or Bad Condition Roads (PBCR), is a complex challenge that requires an approprite and systematic decision-making model. This study applies a quantitative approach using the Multi-Attribute Decision-Making (MADM) framework to compare two decision-making methods: Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The objective is to determine priority rankings for sustainable maintenance of poor condition roads in Tasikmalaya Regency and to analyze any differences in ranking results between the methods. The criteria weights were determined using a consensus-based approach involving relevant stakeholders to ensure the process is transparent and inclusive. The results show that the Manonjaya–Salopa road segment was ranked highest priority by the SAW method, while the Papayan–Cikalong road segment ranked highest under the TOPSIS method. This indicates that the two methods may yield different priority results due to variations in sensitivity to the assigned weights. The study highlights the importance of employing a comparative approach to validate priority-setting for sustainable road maintenance programs. The findings are expected to serve as evidence-based input for local government in allocating resources efficiently and supporting long-term infrastructure resilience.en_US
