Analisis dampak lalu lintas pembangunan superindo terhadap Simpang Ponokawan Klaten, Jawa Tengah

Abstract

The new shop will affect the traffic around the new activity. such as the case study that will be observed, namely Superindo in Klaten which affect the performance of the Ponokawan intersection. Therefore, a traffic impact analysis was carried out to find out how much new trip generation go on at the Ponokawan intersection which requires traffic engineering and traffic management to overcome its impact. The existing traffic results were obtained at one of the intersections affected by the construction of the Superindo supermarket in 2025 with a degree of saturation 0.461 with a level of service is "C", and in the next 7 years it is predicted that the degree of saturation will be 0.843 with a level of service is "D". While the traffic conditions if there is no Superindo supermarket in 2025 with a degree of saturation 0.454 with a level of service is "C", and in the next 7 years it is predicted that the degree of saturation will be 0.829 with a level of service is "D". Therefore, a solution is needed to extend the life of traffic services by making a canal at the mouth of the western intersection and widening the road at the mouth of the eastern intersection.
