    Abstract
The construction of Jakarta Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase 1B is a strategic initiative aimed at addressing urban challenges such as traffic congestion, carbon emissions, and unequal access to public transportation in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). This study aims to examine public perception of the LRT Phase 1B project in supporting an environmentally friendly and inclusive transportation system aligned with the Indonesia Emas 2045 Vision. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, utilizing an online questionnaire distributed to residents of Jabodetabek. Data from 31 respondents were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods, including mean scores and percentage distributions. The results indicate that most respondents are aware of the urgency of shifting toward low-emission transportation and perceive LRT as an efficient, eco-friendly mode with good accessibility, particularly for vulnerable groups. The respondents also view LRT Phase 1B as supporting equitable access and intermodal integration across the city. Furthermore, 90.3% of respondents expressed interest in using LRT as a daily mode of transport. These findings suggest that the LRT Jakarta Phase 1B project not only addresses urban mobility issues but also contributes significantly to the achievement of inclusive and sustainable development goals as mandated by the Indonesia Emas 2045 national agenda.
