    Abstract
The Awunio-Lapuko road section, located in Sumbersari Village, Moramo District, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, is part of the national road managed by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR). It connects Kendari City to areas like Buton Regency and North Buton via the Amolengu Ferry Port. The road faces issues with frequent landslides on the shoulder at STA 8+205. This study aims to address these landslides by analyzing two conditions: the original slope and reinforced cantilever and bore pile retaining walls, with the goal of determining the safety factor (SF). The analysis was carried out using the Plaxis v21 program and manual calculations. The results of the analysis using Plaxis showed the safety factor of the original slope without earthquake load of 2.68, which decreased to 1.231 with earthquake load. This condition states that the slope is in an unsafe condition SF < 1.5. The results of manual analysis using the fellenius method provide a safety factor of 1.279 < 1.5. This condition indicates that the slope is in a critical or unsafe condition against collapse. Reinforcement with cantilever retaining walls and bore piles produces a much higher safety factor. In the Plaxis analysis, the safety factor without earthquake load is 5.345, while with earthquake load it becomes 5.203, both are declared safe (figure> 1.5).
