High-rise construction projects, such as apartment buildings, provide significant occupational safety and health (OHS) dangers, particularly during lifting operations with tower cranes. The risks associated with this task can affect worker safety, time efficiency, and project expenses. This study seeks to examine the diverse occupational accident hazards associated with lifting operations at the Arjuna Tower Apartment construction project in Mataram City. The employed methodology is Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC), encompassing the identification of hazards, assessment of risk levels, and implementation of risk control measures. The study's findings indicate that the Arjuna Tower Apartment construction project in Mataram City is subject to five principal risks and fifteen risk indicators, characterised by significant severity levels, including falls from heights, equipment malfunctions, and incidents arising from inadequate use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Following the implementation of controls, the risk levels are categorised as medium risk at 17%, low risk at 83%, and high risk has been eliminated. Risk control is implemented by a hierarchical control strategy, encompassing hazard removal, substitution of work methods, engineering controls, administrative measures, and the utilisation of personal protective equipment (PPE).en_US
