    Abstract
Special Region ProvinceYogyakarta is growing rapidly, especially in the tourism sector. However, road infrastructure has not fully supported the surge in tourists and students. The local government built the Gunung Kidul Ring Road to facilitate access, considering the access, considering that the trip from Universitas Islam Indonesia to Gunung Kidul Gunung Kidul tourist destination takes about 2.5 hours, which is less efficient. In construction projects, excavation and embankment or cut and fill activities have a high risk of work accidents, especially the fall of zeolite stones from a height. This research uses the Event Tree Analysis (ETA) method to analyze the possibility of accidents due to falling zeolite stones in cut and fill work and identify mitigation measures to prevent accidents. After obtaining the initial event and pivotal event, then look for the probability value of each pivotal event and get the risk that can occur from each work accident scheme. The results of this study obtained the possibility of a work accident falling from a height of 0.930. To get a safe state or no work accident in this project does not exist because the field of work that often occurs accidents and moderate work accidents get the final result of 4.229846 𝑥 10-2, and in heavy work accidents the largest probability value obtained is 9.207000𝑥 10-2.
