dc.description.abstractIndonesia is a country located in the Ring of Fire and is situated on four tectonic plates, making it prone to earthquakes. Rengasdengklok is one of the regions in Indonesia that is highly susceptible to seismic disasters and is close to the active Baribis fault. The planning of multi-story buildings in earthquake-prone areas must account for seismic loads to prevent structural failure. There are two types of lateral force-resisting systems: frame walls and global bracing frames. This research aims to compare structural responses using three types of bracing systems. The responses include base shear values, horizontal and vertical irregularities, inter-story drift, and structural stability. The model will utilize the Regional General Hospital of Rengasdengklok, incorporating shear wall type I (model 1), X-bracing (model 2), and inverted V-bracing (model 3). The analysis method employed is the response spectrum method, using ETABS V.22 software. The findings indicate that the largest base shear values occur in the following order: X-bracing, inverted V-bracing, and shear wall type I. All three models exhibit horizontal irregularity type 1a and angular irregularity in the Y direction, as well as vertical irregularities types 1a and 2. Based on inter-story drift values, all three structures exceed permissible limits in the X direction on the 3rd and 4th floors, while remaining within safe limits in the Y direction. Finally, the stability analysis shows that all three structures possess good stability and do not exceed limits.en_US
