    Abstract
The growth of shopping centers in the city of Klaten, especially with the presence of Superindo Klaten, has had a significant impact on traffic conditions in the surrounding area, especially on Jalan Mayor Kusmanto and Jalan Bima. This study aims to analyze the effect of new trip generation due to Superindo's operations on the performance of unsignalized intersections in the area. The methods used include traffic surveys, vehicle volume analysis, road capacity, and saturation levels based on the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI). The results of the study showed an increase in traffic volume during peak hours (18.45–19.45) with the highest saturation level of 0.632 in 2024, indicating a category C road service level. Simulation of conditions in the next five years (2029) shows a decrease in the level of service to category E if there is no handling intervention. Therefore, it is necessary to implement traffic impact analysis (ANDALALIN), infrastructure improvements, and traffic management strategies to overcome the congestion problems that arise and maintain smooth traffic flow in the future.
