dc.description.abstractDesa 2 Gotakan, Panjatan berada di dekat proyek pembangunan Bandara New Yogyakarta International Airport, untuk mendukung adanya bandara baru tersebut diperlukan insfratruktur yang memadai. Tanah asli Desa Gotakan berupa tanah lepung. Tanah lempung memiliki sifat permeabilitas rendah, kenaikan air kapiler tinggi, bersifat kohesif, kadar kembang susut yang tinggi dan proses konsolidasi yang lambat. Sifat tanah lempung tersebut bisa menimbulkan kerugian fisik maupun material akibat rusaknya bangunan sipil seperti jalan dan gedung. Usaha untuk memperbaiki kondisi tanah asli berupa stabilisasi tanah. Penelitian kali ini menggunakan metode stabilisasi kimia, yaitu menambahkan tanah asli dengan bahan tambah berupa semen dan rotec. Kadar semen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebesar 2 % dan kadar rotec sebesar 1 %, 2 %, 3 % dan 4 % dengan masa pemeraman selama 1, 3, dan 7 hari, untuk kondisi sampel terendam diperam selama 7 hari kemudian direndam selama 4 hari. Pengujian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah uji CBR. Hasil penelitian pada tanah asli menunjukan bahwa tanah asli adalah tanah lempung organik dengan plastisitas tinggi. Pengaruh bahan tambah terhadap tanah asli pada nilai CBR yaitu menaikan nilai CBR kondisi tidak terendam dan kondisi terendam. Hasil penelitian kondisi tidak terendam menunjukan bahwa hasil maksimal didapatkan pada masa pemeraman 7 hari. Nilai CBR kadar 1%, 2%, 3%, dan 4% mengalami kenaikan berturut – turut sebesar 258,80%, 315,38%, 394,38%, dan 502,61 %. Nilai CBR pada kondisi terendam kadar 1%, 2%, 3%, dan 4% mengalami kenaikan berturut – turut sebesar 414,76%, 491,93%, 584,11%, dan 624,94%. . 2 Gotakan Village, Panjatan is located near to New Yogyakarta Airport development project, to support the new airport, it is required adequate insfrastructure. Clay is the original land of Gotakan Village. The characteristic of clay are it has low permeability, high capillary water rise, cohesive, high shrinkage and slow consolidation process. These cause can physical or material loses due to the destruction of civil buildings such as roads and buildings. The efforts to improve the the original soil is soil stabilization. This study uses chemical stabilization method, that is adding the original soil with additional ingredients such as cement and rotec. In this study, the cement level used 2% and the rotec level used 1%, 2%, 3% and 4% with curing period for 1, 3, and 7 days, for soaked sample is cured 7 days then soaked for 4 days. The test that applied in this study is CBR test. The results on the original soil showed that the original soil is organic clay with high plasticity. The effect of additional ingredient on CBR value that is increasing the CBR value soaked and unsoaked conditions. In this study showed that maximum result is obtained on 7 days curing period. The CBR values level 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4% are increasing succesively in the amount of 258.80%, 315.38%, 394.38% and 502.61%. The CBR value of soaked condiition on level 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4% increasing succesively in the amount of 414,76%, 491,93%, 584,11%, and 624,94%en_US
