dc.description.abstractResearch has been done to reduce sulfate concentration of wastewater hospital using electrolysis method with brass electrode. The reduction process of the sulfate concentration was carried out in an electrolysis reactor equipped with a cathode, anode and a power supply. In the research, variation of voltage, electrolytes and elektrolysis duration were used to determine the most optimum condition of sulfate concentration reduction. Then the sample of the electrolysis process was analyzed using Spectrofotometer UV-Vis. The results showed that the most optimum condition of the sulfate reduction was obtained the voltage, electrolyte, and electrolysis duration of 7 V, HCl 0.1 N, and 120 min respectively, with the sulfate reduction of 68.53%.en_US
