    Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries prone to earthquakes, both tectonic and volcanic earthquakes. Therefore, there is a need for further research and analysis of the behavior of building structures. This has become one of the factors in the improvement of earthquake resistance regulations for building and non-building structures, from SNI 1726-2012 to SNI 1726- 2019. This research was conducted using the static equivalent method and spectrum response according to SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 1726-2019 regulations. Modelling of the building structure using the SAP 2000 v.22 program. The research purpose is to examine the comparison of structural behavior in the form of displacement, story drift, and drift ratio of the building. The results showed that the structural behavior in the form of displacement, story drift, and drift ratio due to spectrum response earthquake loads, both in the x-direction and y-direction according to SNI 1726-2019 has a greater value than SNI 1726-2012.
