    Abstract
The decline in the utilization of public transportation services has emerged as a significant issue in the management of urban transportation in Yogyakarta in recent years. By comprehending operational performance and passenger characteristics, it is possible to develop strategies that maximize the efficiency of public transportation systems. This study centers on the examination of the public transportation service "Teman Bus Jogja" and specifically investigates the routes K1, K2A, and K1A. Operational performance is evaluated in accordance with the guidelines outlined in SK Dirjen 687/2002. The Ordinal Logistic Regression Model is employed to study passenger attributes and evaluations. The data utilized is primary data obtained firsthand through regular records and questionnaires. The research results suggest that "Teman Bus Jogja" fails to meet the requirements for load factor and transportation availability. However, the criteria for headway, travel speed, distance to stops, and travel time have been met for all three routes. The analysis results indicate that the utilization of Trans Jogja will see an upsurge as a result of many aspects, such as gender, age, vehicle possession, trip distance, and proximity to Trans Jogja stops.
