    Abstract
    Roads are a land transportation infrastructure that functions to connect an area with other regions that have a very important role in supporting activities in terms of the economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects of a region. This study aims to determine the priority criteria of maintaining district roads in Kebumen District. the method used in this study is using the Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method. Data collection by conducting interviews and filling out the respondent's questionnaire. This research was carried out using the CBR method until the retrieve stage, but in subsequent studies it will be continued until the reuse, revise and retain stages. the results of the research conducted concluded that there are five criteria in determining the priority of maintaining district roads in the Kebumen Regency area. The first criterion is the cost of handling criteria which is divided into three sub-criteria, namely road routine, road maintenance, and rehabilitation. The second criterion is the criteria for road conditions which are divided into three sub-criteria, namely, moderate, slightly damaged, and heavily damaged. The third criterion is regional development, this criterion is divided into three sub-criteria, namely industry, trade and tourism. The fourth criterion is policy criteria, this criterion is divided into two sub-criteria, namely government and society. And the last criterion is accessibility which is divided into two sub-criteria, namely the strategic value of the road and the relationship between activity centers.
