    Abstract
    Housing is one of the basic needs as a minimum requirement that must be met for humans besides clothing and food. The residence also functions to guarantee the protection of human life, development, protection from various kinds of disturbances so that one can live comfortably and peacefully. To achieve this, it is necessary to formulate implementation and supervision that is directed, simple and easy. Analysis of residential houses as an effort to improve the quality of livable houses aims to determine the level of quality and aspects that need to be improved. The benefits of this research are expected to be input for interested or related parties in improving the quality of livable housing. The method of this research is field observation and interviews and documentation. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive statistics. Based on research results, the quality of buildings in the Bangunjiwo Village is in the good category with an average score of 4.03 and the environmental quality in the Bangunjiwo Village is in the fairly good category with an average value of 3.46. Efforts to improve quality focus on environmental quality, garden/yard, room location/function and lighting/air circulation
