    Abstract
Many urban areas in Indonesia still have problems in managing urban drainage systems. These problems include problems from both technical and non-technical aspects. Currently, the assessment of drainage performance success indicators is only based on technical factors/calculations, while in reality the performance of drainage channels is influenced by many factors including non-technical factors, this paper aims to identify factors that influence drainage channel performance in order to formulate more effective policies in urban drainage planning and management. This study uses a quantitative method by collecting data directly from respondents. The selection of respondents is determined from agencies related to policy makers/authorities for organizing infrastructure including urban drainage and also from practitioners and academics who are experienced in the field. The analysis is carried out by weighting the existing criteria and analyzed using the Consensus Method. The results of the analysis of the 17 existing criteria using the ratio test analysis (w/wmax>0.1), the results obtained were that 7 criteria would be eliminated because the w/wmax ratio <0.1, leaving 10 criteria that were worthy of consideration.
