A frequent obstacle in the construction sector is the lack of collaboration between stakeholders. BIM technology is considered to be a strategic solution to overcome this problem. However, the adoption of BIM is still constrained by regulations that govern its implementation. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach that aims to identify regulations related to BIM in Indonesia in terms of the construction life cycle and provide recommendations for the shortcomings of existing regulations. This is intended to improve the process of adopting BIM in the implementation of construction services in Indonesia. The results showed that the water resources and infrastructure sectors still need regulatory strengthening at the operation and maintenance stage. In addition, all fields still need regulations related to demolition.en_US
