    Abstract
    Klangon-Tempel Road is a primary collector road in Sleman Regency, which has an important role in supporting accessibility between regions and to tourism sites, especially in Sleman Regency. However, as a provincial road, this section has long been damaged due to the high traffic load that must be served. Based on this, this study aims to determine the condition of the pavement, determine the value of the thickness of the additional layer (overlay), determine the value of stress and strain on the existing pavement and overlay. This research was conducted on the Klangon-Tempel Road Section along 1 kilometer. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data in the form of road damage samples, deflection data and pavement thickness obtained by conducting surveys and direct testing. Secondary data is obtained from LHR data, field CBR, and pavement materials from the DIY PUPESDM Office. Then data analysis was carried out using the PCI method, the KENPAVE Program, and the 2017 Bina Marga method. The results of the research using the PCI method show that the pavement condition on the Klangon-Tempel Road section (Km 18.7- 19.7) has a final value of 37.85 and is included in the very poor category. The stress and strain response value on the existing pavement for fatique cracking damage is 0.0005293 with a load repetition value of 8,241,170 ESAL, for rutting damage is 0.0007689 with a load repetition value of 119,424 ESAL and strain for deformation damage is 0.001036 with a load repetition value of 31,432 ESAL. The analysis results for the overlay layer obtained AC-WC layer thickness of 8 cm and AC-BC 6 cm. The stress and strain response value in the overlay pavement layer for fatique cracking damage is 0.0002434 with a load repetition value of 75,601,309 ESAL, for rutting damage is 0.0003478 with a load repetition value of 4,164,857 ESAL and strain for deformation damage is 0.0003001 with a load repetition value of 8,061,443 ESAL. These results show that the pavement is able to withstand traffic loads for rutting, fatique cracking and deformation damage until 2035.
