    Abstract
Boja - Darupono road has a length of 12,85 km in Kendal Regency. The increasing volume of traffic in Kendal Regency, which can be seen from the percentage of annual population growth rate of 1.2% and population density of 1016 per km2 , can cause road pavement to experience damage to grooves, cracks, and holes in the road body. This study aims to determine the level of damage to the road surface and its repair, as well as to determine the thickness of the overlay layer and determine the stress strain value to get the remaining service life of the pavement. The data used in the research on the Boja Darupono Road Sta. 10+200 - Sta. 11+500, namely primary and secondary data, primary data in the form of data taken directly in the field in the form of measuring the area and type of damage with the PCI method. While secondary data obtained from DPUPR Kendal Regency in the form of pavement data, LHR data and soil CBR data. The research was conducted using PCI, Bina Marga 1987, Bina Marga 2017 and Empirical Mechanistic methods with the KENPAVE program. Based on the research that has been done, the PCI value of 48,692 is included in the fair road condition. Calculation of overlays using the Bina Marga 1987 method, the minimum thickness of the overlay is 13 cm. The KENPAVE program is used to obtain the stress strain value, so that the repetition load on the existing pavement conditions is 292831,6939 ESAL until fatigue cracking occurs, 564189,1287 ESAL until rutting occurs, and 1046040,596 ESAL until deformation occurs. In the condition of the overlay pavement, the repetition load is obtained at 82473737,82 ESAL until fatigue cracking occurs, 4707863,254 ESAL until rutting occurs, and 7973182915,1572 ESAL until deformation occurs. It can be seen that with the addition of overlays on the pavement, the repetition load can increase so that the planned life of the pavement can be fulfilled. The results of the 2017 Bina Marga method analysis obtained the remaining life value for the overlay pavement in year 2 (2025) is 82,06%.
