    Abstract
One of the areas passed by the Solo-Yogyakarta - YIA Toll Road section is Sendangsari Village, Pengasih, Kulon Progo, D.I.Yogyakarta. From the results of the research conducted, it shows that some of the soil in the area is fine-grained soil and is included in the silt loam category with a general assessment as a subgrade soil that is moderate to poor. This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of Lime and S-base 07 stabilization materials on soil shear strength. Variations of the addition of 4% Lime and S-base 07 of 1.5% 3%, and 5% in each sample with 1 day and 5 days of curing. In this research, the test that will be carried out is the direct shear test on the original soil and soil that has been mixed with added ingredients. The results of the study obtained an increase in the value of shear strength (t). The shear strength (t) value in the original soil was 1.601 kg/cm². The shear strength (t) value of native soil+ 4% lime increased as the curing period increased, at 1 day and 5 days curing it was 2.701 kg/cm² and 2.896 kg/cm². The shear strength (1) value of native soil + S-Base 07 increased with the increase of added material and curing period, the highest increase in shear strength (t) value occurred in the addition of 5% S-Base 07 stabilization material with a 5-day curing period of 3.566 kg/cm². The shear strength (t) value of the original soil 4% Lime S-Base 07 also increased along with the increase of added ingredients and curing period, the highest increase in shear strength (t) value occurred in the addition of 4% Lime + 5% S-Base 07 stabilization material with a 5-day curing period of 3.709 kg/cm
