    Abstract
    Work accidents are often caused by ignoring the workers themselves and the working environment conditions at the project site. Work accidents can cause material damage to the surrounding environment, as well as injury or death. A contractor safety management system (CSMS) is a system by minimizing the risk of hazards that can harm workers. contractors, owners, and communities around the project. This research is a qualitative and descriptive method that aims to understand how Implementing CSMS in construction projects. This research method first involves related parties directly Interviews to collect data as questionnaires, such as checklists. After obtaining the data, the frequency index (FI) method is used to process the data until the results of reviewing the CSMS implementation of PT Putra Jaya Andalan are got. This project reviewed implementing the six phases of the CSMS including the administrative phase (risk assessment, prequalification, and selection phases), and the implementation phase (initial work, work in progress. and evaluation). The results of the review at the implementation stage showed that the management commitment variable was 55.56%, training variable was 61.11%, procedure variable was 70.37%, equipment variable was 83.33%, and the average score was 67.59%. This shows that PT PJA's CSMS implementation in the "Public Service Mall" Building project is running quite a "Good", and has fulfilled the six phases in CSMS
