Probabilitas Pemilihan Moda Antara Feeder Wira-Wiri Dengan Ojek Online Akibat Selisih Biaya di Kota Surabaya

Abstract

The Surabaya "Wira-Wiri" mass transportation feeder service has been operating since March 2023, the existence of this new mode alternative is expected to attract the people in Surabaya so that the number of private vehicle users could be significantly decreased, even though on the other hand, the number of online motorbike taxi users are quite massive enough. This study aims to investigate the probability of choosing the mode of transportation between the "Wira-Wiri" Suroboyo feeder and online motorbike taxi by the difference in travel costs basis. This study conducted by investigating 182 respondents who was feeder passengers. Specifically. 66 of the total passengers took online motorbike taxis to travel before the feeder service operates. By applying the binary logit model formula differences, it can be concluded that when there is no cost difference between online motorbike taxis and feeder transportation services, the probability of choosing online motorbike taxis is 26%, while the remaining 76% use the feeder transportation services. Thus, the greater the difference in travel costs, the higher the probability of choosing online transportation services as a mode of transportation.
