Soil bearing capacity is essential in developing infrastructure like roads, it means the soil must have a good bearing capacity. Therefore, efforts are made to improve weak soil to be strong and stable so that each layer has a role in supporting the load that will pass on it. The initial activity was to find soil classification on the land of Prambanan Temple. According to the AASHTO and USCS methods, the soil classification was A2 and SM. Based on proctor test, sand mixed with fine grained soil has a Maximum Dry Density (MDD) and Optimum Moisture Content (OMC) that the best mixture variation is 90% sand mixed with 10% fine-grained soil. Based on the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test, it was found that the percentage of hydrated lime with the best CBR value was 3%, with the value of unsoaked CBR on the 28th day was 35.91%, an increase of 72,22% from the unsoaked CBR on the 28th day without the addition of hydrated lime, which was 20.85%. The value of soaked CBR on the 28th day was 31,97%, an increase of 66,27% from soaked CBR on the 28th daywithout adding hydrated Lime which was 19,23%. The effect of the percentage of the hydrated lime addition on stabilized soil in terms of CBR value is that the addition of hydrated lime, there are 1%, 2%, and 3% of stabilized soil increases as hydrated lime content increases. The longer the deepening hydrated time, the stronger the soil tested will be.en_US
