| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to utilize brick waste as a substitute for fine aggregate
with variations of 0%, 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, and 15% of the weight of sand
and rice husk ash as much as 10% of the weight of cement as a cement
substitute in making concrete. In this study, the design quality of the
concrete used was 25 MPa with concrete curing for 28 days. Calculation
of concrete mix planning using SNI 03-2834-2000. The number of
samples made in this research was 60 samples. This research was
conducted with the aim of determining the effect the substitution of brick
waste as fine aggregate and rice husk ash as a cement substitute on
compressive strength. Research results show that the use of brick waste
as a substitute for fine aggregate with variations of 0%, 3%, 6%, 9%,
12% and 15% can increase compressive strength. Concrete compressive
strength can increase up to 23.4% of normal concrete. The optimum
compressive strength value obtained in the LBB 12% - ASP 10% variation
was 31.23 MPa. | en_US |
