The conventional concrete manufacturing process usually requires manual compaction or mechanical vibration to appropriately fill the mold cavities and eliminate air voids impairing the strength of the structure. Self-compacting concrete (SCC) technology was developed to overcome this obstacle. The SCC flows easily in the formwork and fills the narrow gaps between the reinforcements without a compaction machine. In this research, silica fume and superplasticizer type viscorete1003 were also used in the SCC concrete composition, whilst glass powder was substituted gradually as filler in the SCC concrete because it contains silica that can affect the compressive strength of concrete. The SCC concrete mixture was prepared by considering the SNI-6468-2000 standard with a target compressive strength of 42 MPa, with variations in the percentage of glass powder of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, and 15%. The concrete was tested 28 days after mixing to determine the compressive strength, split tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity. Based on the results, concrete with 2.5% glass powder as filler had the best compressive strength and split tensile strength. In contrast, the modulus of elasticity of high- strength SCC was extensively computed based on different methods, such as STM-C469-94, SNI-2847-2019, FHWA (2000), and NBR-6118 (2003), producing slightly different results because of the empiric formulas used.en_US
