dc.description.abstractThe increasing demand for cement due to the development of construction using concrete materials is causing cement prices to rise over time. Currently, there is much research on materials that might replace cement. In terms of quality, the compressive strength of concrete is influenced by several factors, namely the materials used and the concrete curing methods. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of mixing lime powder as a cement substitute and also the effect of concrete curing. The method used for the mix design is based on SNI 03- 2834-2000 and the method used for compressive strength testing is based on (Badan Standarisasi Nasional, 2011). The proportions used in this substitution involve lime powder at percentages of 5%, 10%, and 15%. Two curing methods were used: the soaking method and the burlap sack covering method. Generally, the research results show that the soaking method provides higher compressive strength test results in all variations compared to the burlap sack covering method. The optimal compressive strength value in the soaking method was obtained at the 10% variation with 31.77 MPa, and for the burlap sack covering method, it was obtained at the 15% variation with 25.80 MPa.en_US
