    Abstract
Concrete has high compressive strength, but low tensile strength. The addition of Dramix 3D steel fiber is one solution to increase the split tensile strength and flexural strength of concrete. This research uses Dramix 3D steel fibers with varying lengths of 20 mm, 40 mm and 60 mm to analyze the most effective fiber variations as a concrete mixture. Tests were carried out on 28 day old concrete by comparing conventional concrete and self compacting concrete. Test results show that Dramix 3D steel fibers are effective in improving the mechanical properties of concrete, with an increase in flexural tensile strength of 70.16% in conventional concrete and 531.7% in SCC. The split tensile strength test also showed a significant increase of 20.76% for conventional concrete and 36.44% for SCC compared to fiberless concrete. These results show that the addition of Dramix 3D steel fibers is an effective solution to improve concrete performance, especially in terms of tensile strength.
