    Abstract
Every construction project must have risks both low, medium and high risk. Risk cannot be completely eliminated, but it can be managed effectively, to reduce its effect on achieving project objectives an excellent risk management system is needed. The purpose of this study is to identify risks, analyze risk values and find out the variables that have the highest risk in high blasting work. In this study with the observative data method which will be processed using the severity index method. The use of the Severity Index method is used to determine the probability and impact values, and categorize them based on the magnitude of the probability of the impact obtained. After knowing the value that represents the answer from the respondent, the analysis continues by plotting the value into a probability and impact matrix. The results showed that there were 58 risk variables that occurred in the Bener Dam Construction project. Based on the results of the risk analysis, the risk level is obtained based on purposive HSE (Health Safety Environment) respondents, the low risk level has a value of 4 variables, the medium risk level has a value of 26 variables, and the high risk level has a value of 28 variables. The level of risk acceptance in the high category is the extraction and transportation of explosives in the variable risk of scattered explosives during mobilization, in the activity of filling towels into the blasting hole in the variable of explosives scattered during mobilization, in blasting activities in the variable risk of dumptruck rollover, in the variable risk of falling into shock, in the variable risk of death, in the variable risk of cracking houses and public buildings, and on demolition activities on risk variables Unstable soil.
