    Abstract
Today, many businesses have new products to sell to the market. To increase profits and sales growth, companies must create a blue ocean, which is defined as a new field that companies can create through the concept of value innovation, i.e. big value and lower cost: big value and lower cost. Inspired by this, this study aims to conduct product innovation in terms of wall construction materials, namely rice husk bricks. In order for rice husk bricks to compete in the market, technical testing must be carried out in the form of volume weight, compressive strength and strain, water absorption, temperature damping, and sound damping based on SNI-03-0449-2002 and SNI-03-0349-1989. Furthermore, a survey of the price of lightweight bricks as a comparison in several stores in Sleman Regency and the implementation of a value innovation survey to determine the community's response. The results showed that rice husk bricks with a mixture of 1 PC : 1 stone ash: 2 rice husk is superior in the test with 11.095% less water absorption, 6.83% better sound attenuation, 10.714% cheaper price. However, Blesscon lightweight bricks excelled in the aspects of volume weight with 31.238% lighter, compressive strength with 0.144% stronger and sound attenuation with 6.83% quieter. The highest aspect selected by respondents in the value innovation survey was compressive strength with 18.63%. Then, there were 76.92% of respondents who chose rice husk bricks and there were 46.15% who suggested wider marketing for rice husk bricks.
