| dc.description.abstract | Brebes – Tegal North Ring Road located on Jl. Raya Klampok, Wanasari District, Tegal City,
Central Java Province is a national scale road that has a length of about 17 kilometers. The
northern ring road brebes – Tegal was built to facilitate the flow of special traffic in Brebes which
will become an industrial area. The development is divided into four zones, namely the first zone
of stressing work and installation of bridge girders, the second zone of clearing preparation, the
third zone of land hoarding, and the fourth zone which is the preparation of soil materials for the
construction of kemiri and Kaligangsa bridges. Therefore, it is necessary to review the decline of
land and the time of consolidation on the road.For road repair analysis using Prefabricated
Vertical Drain (PVD) and Preloading methods manually or using Plaxis 8.6 softwere application
to find out the comparison of the decrease and time of consolidation of soft soil on the
improvement of Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) and Preloading methods with Mohr
Coulumb modeling on Plaxis 8.6 and analytics.The results of research on soft soil on the
construction of the northern ring road Brebes – TegalTegal City Central Java Province with soil
improvement utilizing prefabricated vertical drain and preloading method is able to accelerate
the consolidation time and not affect the decline. The factors that influence this are pvd mounting
pattern and PVD mounting distance. Triangular pattern is the most effective because the closer
the installation, the faster the consolidation process. | en_US |
