Keyakinan Dominan Yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Tidak Selamat Pengendara Sepeda Motor Di Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract

Traffic accidents experienced by various groups of road users cause various fatalities. Korlantas Polri (2018) noted that motorcycles dominate traffic accidents in Indonesia. The biggest cause of these accidents is due to human factors (Polri, 2017). This study aims to determine the dominant beliefs according to motorcyclists who are the factors causing the occurrence of unsafe driving behavior. Elicitation Study in Theory of Planned Behavior is used to determine the factors starting before, during, and after driving. A total of 77 respondents filled out a questionnaire distributed online using a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the belief that fatigue, vehicle condition, poor time management, carelessness, doing other activities, and the availability of parking spaces had an effect on behavior that was not related to attitude towards behavior. Friends, other road users, and family are related to subjective norms. Lack of driving, lack of driving ability, poor time management, vehicle factors, fatigue, road infrastructure factors, and carelessness have an effect on the perception of behavioral control.
