    Abstract
The Special Region of Yogyakarta was a province with high natural resources, such as good rock quality. On the other hand, traffic in the Special Region of Yogyakarta has a high mobility which causes a high demand of road construction with a rock. So, the high demand makes the availability of mining materials unbalanced with material needs. Based on this, an innovation emerged to utilize Indrayanti Beach Sand as a substitute for fine aggregate in pavement. The method used is to substitute Indrayanti beach sand in the mixture Asphalt Concrete – Binder Course using Pertamina pen 60/70 asphalt and Retona Blend 55. This research begins with an examination of the feasibility of aggregate material from Clereng and Indrayanti Beach Sand, while the substitution variations used are 0%, 50% and 100% Indrayanti Beach sand, then tested on Marshall, Indirect Tensile Strength, Retained Strength Index and Cantabro. Based on the tests, the KAO value is 5.90; 6.10 and 6.20 on the use of asphalt Pertamina pen 60/70 and %, the KAO value of 6.00; 6.25 and 6.475 on the use of asphalt Retona Blend 55with 0% Indrayanti beach sand substitution; 50% and 100%. Based on the mixture test AC-BC with KAO, it was found that the use of Indrayanti beach sand as a substitute for fine aggregate experienced a decrease in the value Marshall Quotient, a decrease in the value Retained Strength Index, a decrease in the value Retained Strength Index, and an increase in the value Cantabro with increasing substitution of beach sand.
