    Abstract
The Cement variant that widely distributed in Yogyakarta is Portland Composite Cement (PCC) which is a composite mixture between Portland Cement, blast furnace slag and other podzolic material. Then in 2019, there was a new variant of PCC cement known as “Power Max”. This variant claimed faster cured and produced higher strength concrete than ordinary PCC. So, this claimed need to be proved on flexural strength of Rectangular Reinforced Concrete (RRC) beam through this study. In addition, the effect of Power Max PCC use on flexural strength reduction factor (ϕ) is also aimed. To achieve those objectives, two-point load flexural bending test was performed on 3 different RRC beam concrete namely: 20 MPa ordinary RRC beam, 20 MPa Power Max RRC beam and 25 MPa Power Max RRC beam. The result that can be inferred from the test are: The use of Power Max PCC cement will effectively increase the flexural strength of RRC beam by 16,3% on 25 MPa Power Max PCC RRC beam. Also, the SNI 2848-2019 flexural strength reduction factor (ϕ=0,9) can be safely used on 25 MPa Power Max RRC beam, while the reduction factor (ϕ) of 20 MPa ordinary and 20 MPa Power Max RRC beam respectively is ϕ=0,84 and ϕ=0,88.
