Concrete-filled steel tubes (CFST) have the advantages of high ductility, high fire resistance compared to steel structures. CFST columns are able to withstand high axial loads and have begun to be widely used for super-tall buildings in China. Finite element analysis using the MSC Marc/Mentat software was performed instead of experimentation. The concrete elements are using 3D solid elements. The stress-strain curve in the compression region is multilinear after ' 0,3 c f . Softening occurs after reaching the value of ' c f and returns to the value of 0 ' 0,3 c f after 5 strain. For the tensile area, it is modeled as bilinear, that is, after reaching the tensile stress value, the stress remains constant. The Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion is used for concrete with kinematic hardening rules on plasticity. For steel tubes, a bilinear model with strain hardening and Von Mises yield criteria with isotropic hardening rule on plasticity are used. The both ends support and the loading are clamped. Contact analysis was carried out between the steel tube and the concrete. To model the end clamped plates, the rbe2 element is used. The results of the analysis show the load-deflection curve that is almost the same between the experiment and the finite element. The load-strain curve also shows a similar phenomenon. The compressive axial load calculated using AIJ produces a smaller value than the experimental and finite element results. The final deflected column occurs local buckling in the middle of the span.en_US
