The Influence of Public Figure Divorce Issues on Social Media on Pre-marital Teenagers' Worriess of Marriage
Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out the extent to which the issue of divorce
on social media affects teenagers' worries about getting married. The following
are the goals this study aims to accomplish examining how premarital teens'
views on marriage are impacted by the divorce of well-known individuals on
social media. The research methodology used is field research, which used
quantitative methods, using simple linear regression analysis. The R Square
value, as determined by the results of the simple linear regression test, is 0.151.
This number indicates that there was a 15.1% impact of the Public Figure
Divorce Issue on Social Media (X) on Pre-Marital Adolescents' Worries
Toward Marriage (Y). According to this study, there is a strong and direct link
between teenage marriage fear and how famous figures' divorces are portrayed
on social media. According to this study, negative opinions about marriage may
be influenced by the widely reported and frequently dramatic nature of divorce.
