Kajian Implementasi Sistem Informasi Akademik (Siakad) Online Berbasis Web dari Perspektif Mahasiswa sebagai Pengguna (Studi Kasus Siakad Universitas Jambi)

Abstract

Assessing the implementation or application of an online Web-based Academic Information System (SIAKAD) in the college environment is important to do, as the existence of a Web-based SIAKAD can assist in simplifying administration related to a student's academic. This research will focus on 2 (two) studies, namely: 1). the successful implementation of online-based SIAKAD viewed from the satisfaction of the students; and 2). the elements that contribute to the successful implementation of online SIAKAD based on the web viewed from the level of internet ethics (cyberethics) students as users. The purpose of this research are: 1). To know empirically the influence of system quality variable, information quality and service quality to user satisfaction in using Web-based SIAKAD online at Jambi University; and 2). To know empirically the influence of individual factors namely; Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA), emotional intelligence / EQ, and spiritual intelligence / SQ on internet cyberethics (as users) in the use of online Web-based SIAKAD at Jambi University. Respondents in this study amounted to 252 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, that is, the researcher purposely took the undergraduate students of Jambi University who had taken the lecture for three (3) semesters or more as the sample. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 17.0 for Windows. Based on the literature review, this research model adopts; 1). The DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model (updated 2003), by looking at the effect of system quality, information quality, and service quality on user satisfaction; and 2). The concept of ethics in general, by looking at the influence of GPA, EQ, and SQ on internet cyberethics (cyberethics) students in the use of online Web-based SIAKAD. The results of this study show that: 1). the quality of the system (quality system), the quality of information (information quality), and the quality of service (service quality) have a positive and significant influence on the satisfaction of the users (user satisfaction) SIAKAD Web-based online at Jambi University; and 2). GPA, EQ, and SQ variables have a positive and significant influence on internet cyberethics (cyberethics) of students in using Web-based SIAKAD online at Jambi University.
