dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to find put what is the reason of Adian Husaini in rejecting the idea of gender equality and the rejection whether in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Law. This type of research is qualitative research, with literature review. The approach used is using the historical approach. Sources of data that researchers used in the study that is from the primary data in the form Adian own papers, books he has written, articels, even from videos uploaded on the internet. Also uses other writings as secondary data to reinforce primary data, and other post tertiary data related to the research topic. The method used in data analysis is content analysis, where in this research through several stages of critical-scientific thinking, where researchers begin to think inductively, capture various facts or social phenomena, through observation in the field, then analyze it and then attempt to do theorizing based on what was observed. The results of the study is the reasonn of Adian Husaini rejected the understanding of gender equality because it is not in accordance with Islamic syari’ah, and even have the potential to reconstruct the Islamic law that has been standard. Then it will spread hatred for men, both jurists and jihadists, for being accused of making gender-biased interpretations. And the reasongs for such rejectin are in accordance with the provisions in Islamic law.id
