dc.description.abstractParangtritis Road Km 15 was a inter city road that connects the city of Yogyakarta and Bantul District. Parangtritis Road Km 15 was one of the prone locations to accidents (black spot) that have sharp curve. The number of traffic accidents on Jalan Parangtritis Km 13-16 Bantul district in 2013 - May 2016 was 83 accidents. Kilometer 13 happened 26 accident, kilometer 14 happened 11 accident, kilometer 15 happened 41 accident while kilometer 16 as many as 5 accidents, where the highest accident happened at kilometer 15 so that from Parangtritis road kilometer 13-16 set kilometer 15 become Blackspot area, so that it needs analysis to determine the condition of geometry within the guidelines of intercity geometric 1997 and received appropriate alternative design guidelines. The research method was using direct measurement of actual geometric condition method, include horizontal and vertical curve, lane and roadside width. Road alignment measurements using a theodolith measuring instrument and data daily traffic in 2016 from Bina Marga. Further analysis done by Bina Marga standard. Result that did not met the standard need to be reparation geometrically. Analysis result showed daily average traffic volume was 10639 SMP/day, the accident rate per kilometers with the highest average occurred in 2014 was 50 accidents/year, while shoulder width street only 33 % eligible and the vehicle travel time was 50 km/h. Stop visibility was 44,8 meter, visibility precedes was 50,4 meter and side free space was 4,2 meter. Horizontal alignment type of curve s-c-s radius at each curve was 110 meter and vertical alignment was 43,2 meter. In the research location, it found less qualified was on the stop visibility, precedence visibility, side free space and vehicle speed. For this reason, alternative designs done according to the guidelines. In design alternatives using design speed of 60 km/h, resulting in alignment of horizontal type curve s-c-s with a radius at each curve 120 meter and vertical alignment of 45,5 meters. Stop visibility 84,5 meter, visibility precedes 362,7 meter and side free space of 6,8 meter, in these conditions already qualified as per the guidelines.id
