    Abstract
Acetylsalicylic Acid was used for raw material and co-material for pharmatics industry. Acetylsalicylic acid was made from Salicylic acid and Acetic Anhydride by esterification reaction. The reaction of process would occur at 85oC and 1 atm with 90% conversion using Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor. The Acetylsalicylic acid plant would be built to produce for about 20.000 tons/year capacity of Asetylsalicylic acid. The raw materials consist 2431,2114 kg/hour of Salicylic acid and 2515,7753 kg/hour of Acetic Anhydride. The utility process unit needed 147.965,2679 kg/hour of water for the production processes and daily necessities, used 373,013 kW electricity, and 152,7828 Lt/hour fuels. The plant would be built in the Industial area of Gresik, Jawa Timur. It would be form in Incorporated Company (Inc.) with 135 employees lead by president director. The schedule working system would be applied in shift mode and fix working hour. The Economic evaluation results from the plant were 18,97 %, for Return on Investement after tax, 3, years for Pay Out Time after tax, 56,43%, for Break Even Point, 45,21 %, for Shut Down Point and 14,36%. for Discounted Cash Flow Rate of Return. Based on the economics calculation could be assumed that the plant was economically feasible and suitable for further detailed engineering design.
