dc.description.abstractBackgorund : Tuberculosis is a disease that affects many people in Indonesia. According to WHO report in 2007, Indonesia ranks third in 2009 and decreased to the order-5 as having the world's highest tuberculosis. Most people do not know that tuberculosis can be cured completely. Accordingly, in 2011 the government gave special attention to the treatment of TB disease in order to reduce the number of TB patients in the community. Objective : To determine the incidence and healing adult patients with smear- positive tuberculosis in the district of Bradford in 2011. Method : This research is descriptive categorical retrospective method. Data taken with consecutive sampling method of secondary data from reports of smear positive TB's in Public Health Brebes the period January to December 2011. Data analyzes done using descriptive statistical techniques by percentage (%). Result : Based on the analyzes of the data showed that the incidence of adult patients with smear-positive tuberculosis in Brebes amounted to 0.096 percent. Cure rate of adult patients with smear-positive tuberculosis amounted to 73.97 per cent. Conclusion : Cure rate results lower than the cure rate set by the government.en_US
