| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the relationship between Social Appearance Anxiety,
Smartphone Addiction, and Internet Gaming Disorder in players of the action-RPG game
Genshin Impact. The proposed research hypothesis is that there is a relationship between
Social Appearance Anxiety, Smartphone Addiction, and Internet Gaming Disorder. This
research uses a quantitative approach with a three-variable relationship model using
mediation regression analysis. The subjects of this research were 721 respondents who were
players of the action-RPG game Genshin Impact in Indonesia. Data collection used the Social
Appearance Anxiety Scale by Hart, the Smartphone Addiction Scale by Kwon, and the
Internet Gaming Disorder-20 Test by Pontes with data processing using the Jamovi
application version 2.2.5. The results obtained from this research are that there is a
relationship between Social Appearance Anxiety, Smartphone Addiction, and Internet
Gaming Disorder. In other words, there is an influence between Social Appearance Anxiety,
Smartphone Addiction, and Internet Gaming Disorder. | en_US |
