Insomnia is a sleep disorder caused by anxiety. Working on a thesis in final year students causes anxiety for students and will have an impact on sleep disorders or insomnia. This study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety and the tendency of insomnia in final year students. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive relationship between the level of anxiety and the tendency of insomnia in final year students. The participants in this study were final year students who were working on their thesis, totaling 210 people. Hypothesis testing using pearson correlation with the help of JASP 0.17.3 software. The data collection method used a questionnaire consisting of two measuring instruments namely the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) by Spielberger, et al., (1964) and the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) by Morin (2007). The results of this study showed a positive relationship between anxiety levels and insomnia tendencies in final year students (r=0.473, p=0.000; p<0.05). This shows that final year students who experience anxiety tend to experience insomnia. Conversely, final year students who are not anxious tend not to experience insomnia.en_US
